Freedom® Series Overview

The Freedom® Series of injection molding machines from HPM is available in 460 to 5000 US tons with shot sizes from 14 to 1372 ounces. Its two-platen design gives it a smaller footprint by up to 40% (compared to traditional three-platen machines). The Freedom® series also features:

• The first retractable tie bar system available in North America for easy automated mold changes
  
  
• Improved longevity with fewer leaks
  
  
• Ability to adapt to various injection technologies including gas-assist, silicone rubber, foam injection, etc.
  
  
• Siemens PC-based TC03 control – a global exclusive for Taylor’s HPM Division – is the standard on all Freedom® machines.
  
  
• HPM Division also has a new member of the Freedom® series: a Freedom® Hybrid. Featuring an electric drive, the Freedom® Hybrid offers benefits in energy and cost savings, less noise (compared to a hydraulic screw drive) and cleanliness. The electronic drive option is available on any Freedom® Series machines (360 to 5000 tons), including in combination with the Freedom Rotator® option.
