Die Spotting / Splitting
and Washing System

This unique press system was designed and built for a truck cab manufacturer. In one press the system integrates die spotting, die splitting and die washing. This unique 200-ton press can handle conventional die spotting and its 180 degree tilt-down upper bolster will allow it to function as a die-splitter as well. Die-transfer automation will shuttle the tool halves to and from a specially designed die washing system.

The system included the press with tilt down upper bolster, rolling bolster, and transfer system to the washer.
