Taylor's
HPM Division offers multiple levels of microcomputer based,
programmable control systems for all our die casting machines.
With the proven HPM SERVOSHOT PLUS system,
for example shot speed and pressure data can be entered
displayed, stored, changed, re-entered, and recorded
by means of an easy-to-use key pad entry screen. It provides
precise analog closed-loop control of all shot speeds
by position. Low impact is controlled by position or
decreasing pressure. Included are shot data alarms with
real world output control, built-in digital and trace
readouts for diagnostics and printer port for management
reporting.
The Taylor's HPM Division Shot Data Networking
(SDN) system, working in conjunction with SERVOSHOT PLUS,
ties into a host computer for storage of shot data on
a hard disk, at a fraction of the cost of dedicated hardware
systems. Full-data shot monitoring of eight or more HPM
machines is available.
This system interfaces with Statistical
Process Control (SPC) programs, provides a directory
of all setups, and offers up-loading and down-loading
capability.
