Dean Francis
      The HPM Division of Taylor’s Industrial Services has created a new position with the hiring of Dean M. Francis as vice president of global development.
       Christopher Filos, president and chief executive officer of Taylor’s Industrial Services, said Francis will oversee global development for HPM Division’s die casting, injection molding and extrusion product lines, but will initially focus on the die casting market.
     “Dean brings a wealth of experience in business operations, marketing and technology, as well as industry experience in chemicals, plastics and die casting,” Filos added. “He has successfully lead companies and business units, introduced products, improved operations, and dealt one-on-one with customers. Dean will have an important role in the success of HPM Division.”
     Before joining HPM Division, Francis was president of Francis & Associates, Ada, Mich., a consultant for small and medium size industrial business as well as serving as chairman of Great Lakes Die Casting.
     Prior to that, Francis was president for three years of IdraPrince, the largest die casting equipment manufacturer in the U.S. and a member of the Idra Presse group. Previously, he worked for AlliedSignal’s Specialty Chemicals unit, Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon Endo-Surgery unit, and General Electric Co.’s GE Plastics.     Taylor’s Industrial Services LLC is a leader in manufacturing, heavy-duty hauling, aviation and property management.
